Every six weeks 2.30pm in Winter 7pm in Summer

We are a group of 11, but usually 8/9 come along - with two genders represented….

Very informal, with differences of opinion aired readily in a friendly atmosphere.

We meet every 6 weeks - giving ourselves plenty of time to read the chosen book.

It is usually a modern novel, but we occasionally read a classic, or an auto/ biography.

Newcomers to the group would be very welcome.

We meet in the afternoons during winter, and early evening in summer.

U3A Hay Book Club members have read over 100 books since we started in 2008: modern novels, classics, and non-fiction. Going strong!
